Overall, based on the reviews, I was expecting more.
Best Mac and cheese of my life. Bourbon bison and waygu burgers are well flavored, cooked perfectly and the pretzel buns top it nicely. Desserts look and taste homemade. Service was exceptional.
Diamond in a lovely small town. Owner/Chef knows the way around the kitchen and only uses the best quality foods from many local sources. Dont be late for the soup. Lovely desserts. Can't say enough so will only savor delicious memories back home in Cincinnati for great meals in Canal Winchester.
We had a very mixed experience. I was looking for a great cup of coffee with my meal, but incredibly, they don't offer brewed coffee after 4 pm! From a coffee shop?! (I could have ordered a latte or cappuccino, etc. but I just wanted a good cup of coffee) Next, both our meals included a salad side, but unknown to us, one has the salad delivered first, and the other is included with the main dish. So, I got to wait and watch my wife eat her salad while I wondered where mine was - while drinking water instead of coffee. Oh, and only two types of dressing to choose from.
The main course was really delicious, as everyone says. Very unique choices.
There is somwthing on the menu for everyone here. Great choice of burgers with a nice small town feel. The service is always excellent. There are always local beers on tap with samples available. If you are in Canal Winchester and looking for dinner and a drink Harvest Moon is the answer. If you go you must try the Old Hickory!
I've only eaten there once. It was okay. They were very busy, but my food came out in a timely manner. The cocktail I ordered (Kentucky Mule) was good. The burger I ordered was okay, a little over cooked, but tasty. The Oatmeal Creampie I got for dessert was delicious. I'll go back.
