THIS IS THE WORST PLACE! Good luck getting anything done here and finding respect because you have better chances with the lottery..even the receptionist are angry they have to help you...
I went to the ER on a Sunday with concern for blood clot. They can’t do ultrasound on Sunday’s I’m told but I can come back in the morning for an ultrasound at 8am. I come back the next morning and wait 45 minutes to be seen after going through registration only to be told I can’t be seen and I have to call scheduling myself to make an appointment. I call scheduling and find out they don’t do the ultrasound I need done at this location. I also can’t get it done with it not being included in an ER visit or my insurance won’t cover it. So now I’m stuck having to either fax my prescription to OSU or just start all over with another ER visit. Waist of time, let’s hope I really don’t have a blood clot.
The nurses had a hard time getting an IV in me. After several tries, three nurses, and two ultrasounds, the third nurse was able to get in an IV. I wished the others could of done it without as many pokes, or without digging so long with the needle.
I hope this helps someone else.
Some of the staff is great, especially in the front, but others are argumentative at best. Save yourself a trip if you want bloodwork done. Doctors assistant Sara Rush will make sure you don't get seen for what you need to be. She will put unborn children at risk. She does not have your best interest at heart. She isn't even an actual doctor and somehow makes these decisions.
Our experience while at Diley Ridge was satisfactory, nothing to write home about. At first all staff was friendly and attentive, nurturing but discharge instructions and verbal instructions were completely opposite of anything that actually happened. I️ was instructed to have my son seen first thing Monday AM by a specialist, which we were referred to. I️ was told he needed surgery no later than Tuesday and they also told me his injuries and damaging tendons. When at the specialist they identified different injuries on totally different fingers and scheduled surgery for Friday. When they asked for medical records, Diley had never followed up and sent paperwprk for the “urgent referral”. My advice would be to go straight to the hospital and bypass this center as they are not as helpful as I️ would have liked. I️ also asked for the head nurse to call me to address questions and concerns - which she did but was nothing short than rude and condescending on the phone. Thanks but no thanks. I️ won’t be a returning patient if it’s ever in my control!
First thoughts were good. Nice facility and triage nurse was exceptional. The nurse practioner was very kind, the nurses were sweet, and also the radiologist was nice. I wish they were able to answer my questions about my diagnosis a little better.
The worst experience was the follow-up nurse call today, at least I think she was a nurse. Her name was Jessica. She was very condescending, lacked empathy, and kept trying to talk over me. I felt like she thought my diagnosis was a joke. I hope she never has to go through what I went through. I had a lot of pain when I went to the ER, had been bleeding, was very nauseated, and weak. I hope the nurse that talked to me was just having a bad day, and this was not her usual self.
